More than 20 years ago, I faced burnout early in my medical career. It was a gateway to a kundalini awakening. It inspired me to explore where Self energy comes from?
Since then, I've delved into studying the mind-body-spirit connection. I've explored numerous practices such as meditation, yoga, qi gong, Traditional Chinese Medicine, psychology, Spiritual psychology, Internal Family Systems, Somatic IFS, Sensorimotor psychotherapy, shamanism, breath-work, Intuition medicine®, and energy medicine. I've integrated these into specific Somatic IFS informed skills and practices.
I have created these unique skills and practices to facilitate the inner and outer awareness that is vital for the emergence of Self energy. Self energy comes from the relationship between our Self and our parts. And when we embody our spiritual heart the light of Self energy emerges.
These skills and practices are more than just a solo exploration. We'll utilize them within the context of relationships, both with ourselves and others, in a safe and sacred way. Our hearts can guide us how to be with ourselves and with others.
Our small groups are limited to 12 members. Together, we'll tap into the power of community to deepen our experiences, witness growth, gain insights from one another, and find healing through belonging.
The program includes 8 weekly live online sessions, 2 additional weekly group practice opportunities, exclusive access to my original content combining Somatic IFS and spirituality, access to the Embodying SELF Love Online Program, a one-hour individual consultation with me, and a private online chat group for mutual support and encouragement.

Dr. Steve Chee loves blending the best of two worlds. Science and spirituality. Ancient and modern. Eastern and Western Medicine. Traditional wisdom and IFS.
He has presented at the last two annual IFS conferences on Deepening Self Embodiment through Exploring the Self Energy of the Earth and an Intro to Embodied Transpersonal IFS Practices for Self Care, Health and Healing.
He is Quadruple Board Certified (Family Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Medical Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine) and is also a Certified IFS Therapist
He also served as faculty at the University of Santa Monica’s Spiritual Psychology program for 10 years where he worked with students in creating their own “radiant health & well-being program.”
Following his own experience with burnout, he discovered one of his greatest joys in life is witnessing others come together in groups to heal, grow, and shine!

The groups are highly experiential and while I don't recommend missing a group, we know that life sometimes has other plans. After each group, the recording group will be available for 7 days to encourage watching in a timely manner because the skills and practices build week to week. A recording of the practice sessions will be available through the end of the 8 week group.
While you aren’t acting as a therapist or facilitator for others, it is a space where participants may feel or express themselves deeply. It’s important to consider what time of day that would work best for you. Ideally, we would recommend a buffer before and after so you can get the most out of it and integrate the experience.
Great question! It's really about what works best for you. For some, it can be very meaningful and powerful to share an experience like this with a friend, family member or colleague. For example, one person invited a peer group of colleagues that she wanted to experience this with. For others, not knowing others but being with like-minded and like-hearted peers makes them feel safer to open up. Regardless, the groups are designed to harness the collective energy and to help everyone to connect with one another in a meaningful and supportive way.
